Abstract

PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the protection of memory when the mobile unit interrupts power supply and to simplify the mobile unit constitution, by adding the function converting one touch dial figure into abbreviated dial number to the terminal unit. CONSTITUTION:After the mobile subscriber hooks off, when the preset dial consisting of one digit number is depressed, this signal is converted into the abbreviated number corresponding to the repertory number at the conversion section 3, and the dial number is input to the memory section 7. The memory section 7 is built in the mobile unit and after communication circuit of radio is set, this abberviated number is converted into dial signal for radio section at the modulation section 8 and transmitted via the radio transmission section 9 and the antenna 6. The abbreviated dial number transmitted is received at the car telephone exchange station, and converted into the number corresponding to the called party. Thus, even if the mobile set interrupts the power supply, the memory protection is made unnecessary and the constitution of the mobile unit can be simplified.
