Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the operation at inspection and to increase the safety, by containing the radioactive compound, antigen and 2nd antigen, etc. with required amount for measurement to the space sectioned in fine tubes made of glass, etc.
CONSTITUTION: In the tube 1 made of fine glass or plastic, radioactive compound, antigen and 2nd antigen, activated charcoal powder covered with dextrin, and polyethyleneglycol water solution, being the objective of measurement for hormone labelled with radioactive isotope are separately contained. The tested object or dilute solution of it used for the measurement is put in the tube 1, a needle 8 is inserted in the tube 1, and the solution is pushed out into the upper part 3 through the film 2. The solution pushed in the part 3 is uniformed with the antibody and incubated for a suitable time. After the reaction in the part 3 is finished, the reacted solution in the tube 3 is given to the lower part 6 by strongly shaking it or using a centrifugal separator. At the lower part 6, the deposit and supernatant are separated with centrifugal separation, and the concentration of objective such as hormone included in the objective is imspected by measuring the radioactivity.
