PURPOSE:To obtain excellent inverted pictures by inverting input color TV signals horizontally and vertically independently of each other and by performing this signal processing electrically. CONSTITUTION:In frame memory 4, signal (b) quantized by coder 1 is written and readout addresses bb and cc from horizontal address generator 21 and vertical address generator 22 synchronizing with a reference synchronizing signal from terminal C are applied to memory 4 by way of address switch 5 to read signal (c) out of momeory 4. From this readout signal (c), a luminance signal and chromaticity signal are separated by YC separator 6.
