Abstract

PURPOSE: Titled fungicide that contains one of triazine derivatives, almost of which are novel, as an effective component, thus having remarkably controlling activity against rice blast and others plant diseases, but giving no damage to useful crops and showing no toxicity to man, domestic animals and fishes.
CONSTITUTION: A fungicide for agriculture and horticulture that contains a triazine derivative of formula I [R1 is formula II or III; R2 is lower alkoxy, mono- or di-lower alkylamino; R3 is mono- or di- lower alkylamino] as an effective component. The fungicide is applied directly or after it is diluted with water, a solid powder or another appropriate diluent. Further, it is made into a preparation of, e.g., wettable dust, oil, emulsion, or dust and applied to rice blast, Helminthosporium leaf spot, tomato late blight, or cucumba powdery mildew.
