Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain capacity monitor with a simple circuit constitution and high reliability by detecting instantaneous voltage drop of a battery just after a starting of a cell motor and avoltage value of a battery during an engine cranking of the cell motor. CONSTITUTION:Battery voltage detecting relays 2, 3 are connected to the positive side of a battery, and other ends of the relays 2, 3 are connected to the negative side of the battery. A cell motor 5 is connected to a positive terminal of the battery 1 through a cell motor main contact 4, and other end of the cell motor 5 is connected to a negative terminal of the battery 1. When a cell motor starting direction is issued and cell motor starting auxiliary relay contact point 15A becomes closed, if the battery voltage detecting relay 2 detects an instantaneous low voltage at the cell motor starting, i.e. an insufficient capacity of the battery, or the battery voltage detecting relay 3 detects a low voltage during the engine cranking, an alarm is output to show the insufficient capacity of the battery.
