Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve controlling property of a controller over a wide range of running condition of an engine by changing damping characteristics of the controller corresponding to the running condition of the engine.
CONSTITUTION: While an engine 24 is supported on a car body by resilient mount members 25, the upper portion of the engine is connected to a car body panel 23 through a controller 26. The controller 26 is provided with a liquid path 36 adapted to change flow path resistance by a piston 30 slidable in an oil chamber 34 and a solenoid 37. When the rotational frequency of the engine exceeds a certain value, a switch 29 is turned on to open the liquid path 36 so that the controller 26 has low damping characteristics not to transmit high frequency vibration to the car body. Thus, since the damping characteristics change corresponding to the rotational frequency of the engine, vibration-proof performance is improved and radiant noises can be reduced.
