Abstract

PURPOSE:To form the print film excellent in adhesion by a method wherein an emulsion of acrylic resin containing a crosslinking agent is coated on the substrate, the coated emulsion is dried and baked, then printing is conducted on the baked coat by using an emulsion of a resin having functional groups and the print is baked. CONSTITUTION:A paint consisting of a mixture of the acrylic resin emulsion with 5-20wt% of the crosslinking agent is coated on the substrate, and dried and baked at a crosslinking degree of about 80-90%. The desired pattern is printed on the surface of the coat by using an ink consisting of the emulsion of the resin having the functional groups capable of reacting with the paint, and then drying and baking are conducted to complete the crosslinking and hardening reaction. The acrylic resin emulsion may be an emulsion of hydroxylpropyl methacrylate, acrylamide or the like. The crosslinking agent may be exemplified by amino resins, epoxy resins, benzoguanamine resins, and the like. The ink is preferably an emulsion of an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin or a urethane resin.
