Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a synchronous-state detector from responding to an external pulse noise by performing signal processing so that the output signal of the 2nd level comparator will substantially be removed by the output of the 1st level comparator. CONSTITUTION:The 1st level comparator 3 has its operation start level set by reference voltage E2 and its output and the output of the 2nd comparator 2 having the operation start level set by E1 are mixed in one by synthesizer 4. Since the television receiver has a white noise at the output terminal of synchronous demodulator 1 while the phase-synchronous loop is in a synchronous state, one output and the other output having the polarity inverted are added together by synthesizer 4, so that the white noise can be inhibited from being transferred to the detection output.
