Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve simultaneously energy-saving recording, high-speed recording and low-cost recording by a method wherein the thermal curving is caused in a bimetal by impressing an electric signal and, by the pressure action thereof, the ink contained in a chamber of a given capacity is jetted out. CONSTITUTION:A chamber applied for flowing-in and discharge of a recording liquid, as well as a working part 1 having a purpose of producing a change in capacity in the chamber and constituted by a bimetal BM for, at least, a part of the wall of the chamber or the bimetal BM arranged inside of the chamber, are provided. Corresponding to the increase in the inner-chamber pressure brought about by the above working part, the recording liquid in the chamber is jetted as liquid drips from a discharge orifice 2 communicating with the working part 1 and the liquid drips are stuck to the recording surface, thus recording being performed. As the working part 1, an etched glass plate is used, and, in addition, Fotoceram and ceramic plate are also used therefor.
