Abstract

PURPOSE:To use efficiently the sound track part, by recording the sound multiplex composite signal onto one sound track part of a VTR. CONSTITUTION:Sound signals from two sound channels 1 and 2 are multiplex- modulated by multiplex modulator 3 in the FM-FM system according to their bilingual or stereophonic mode and are made into a sound multiplex composite signal including the mode control signal. This composite signal is recorded onto one sound track of VTR5. The composite signal reproduced from VTR5 is demodulated by sound multiplex demodulator 7 and is applied to speakers 10 and 11 similarly to the normal sound multiplex television receiver.
