Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide display so that a phase relation between right and left channels and the separation state of channel signals can clearly be viewed, by displaying the level of the sum signal of right and left channel signals as well as the level display of the both. CONSTITUTION:Left and right channel signals from left and right channel signal input terminals 1 and 2 are supplied to primary windings 9 and 10 of transformers 7 and 8 and signals from secondary windings 11 and 12 of those transformers 7 and 8 are supplied to level display unit 3, where left channel level display unit 4 displays the level of the left signal and right channel level display unit 5 displays the right channel level. Secondary wndings 11 and 12 of transformers 7 and 8 are provided with canceling circuit 13 composed of diodes 14-19 so as to cancel right and left signals when they are out of phase. Further, primary windings 9 and 10 are provided with adding circuit 20 that adds the right and left signal together and the level of the sum signal obtained by circuit 20 is displayed on addition level display unit 6 to display clearly their phase relation and separation state.
