Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the installation of an apparatus, reduce its size and conserve energy by utilizing the latent heat of a refrigerant.
CONSTITUTION: A utilization side heat exchanger 1, a refrigerant circulation pump 3 and a heat exchanger 4 form a circulation circuit of refrigerant 5 (Freon refrigerant), and the heat exchanger 4, a heating medium circulation pump 8 and a heat exchanger 10 form a circulation circuit of heating medium 6 (refrigerator oil, etc.). By so doing, gaseous refrigerant 5 flowing into the utilization side heat exchanger 1 condenses into liquid by the action of a room blower 2 while radiating heat into a room, and then the liquefied refrigerant flows into the heat exchanger 4, where the refrigerant is blown into the liquid of hot heating medium 6 and exchanges heat directly with the liquid, is gasified and returns to the utilization side heat exchanger 1. On the other hand, the heating medium 6 cooled in the heat exchanger 4 flows into the heat exchanger 10, is heated by a burner 9 and returns to the heat exchanger 4. By employing said system, the quantity of refregerant circulation, power input to the refrigerant circulation pump 3, the capacities of the pumps, and the diameter of the pipe to the apparatus in the room can be reduced.
