Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a simple and continuous measurement for an inner diameter of a cylindrical substance with a high accuracy, by supporting a fixed shaft on the inner surface of the cylindrical substance to be measured with three supporting legs and at three points and attaching turnably an arm having a probe at the tip part to the fixed shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A disk 2 fixed to a fixed shaft 1 is supported at the center of a cylindrical substance A to be measured for its inner diameter with three supporting legs 3 and at three points. The length of the leg 3 can be adjusted by four joint legs 4 plus five tightening parts 5 and at the same time can be shifted lengthwise to the cylinder A via a roller 6 at the tip. An arm 9, having a probe 10 at the tip and capable of an adjustment for the length, is fixed to a rotary disk 8. The disk 8 is rotated via a motor 24, a reducing gear 25 and a gear 27. Thus the inner diameter of the cylinder A is measured. And the angle of rotation is measured via a microswitch and a projection 26 provided to the rotary shaft of the gear 27. In such way, an inner diameter of a cylindrical substance can be measured in a simple and continuous way with a high accuracy.
