Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Proper preceding time for the sufficient precool or preheat of an air conditioner is automatically computed by a computer which includes a start control instructing unit C3 and a room temperature rising characteristic varying unit C4, and the air conditioner is started at that time. The room temperature at the time of controlling is first measured in the step A1, and the set room temperature reaching time when the room temperature is increased from the present temperature is then obtained in the step A2. The operation is then transferred to the step A3, in which the time computed in the step A2 is compared with the room utility starting time, and when the compared time is within a predetermined range, a starting instruction is applied to the air conditioner in the step A4.
