Abstract

PURPOSE:To forcibly lubricate gears by ejecting a lubricant of magnetic fluid to the engaged tooth surfaces of a large and small gears by pumping. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic fluid 23 is supplied by a liquid transfer pump 36 driven by the rotation of a driving shaft 4 to lubricate the tooth surfaces engaged between a large gear 1 and a small gear 2. The magnetic liquid 23 is sucked from an oil container 15 for a gear box assembly 8 through a suction pipe 29 with cooling fins 28 and a filter 38 and ejected from an ejection nozzle 31 for regular revolution through a check valve 34 and ejection pipe 30 for regular revolution into the engaged part A of the gears through the upper side when the gears revolve in the regular direction. When the gears revolve in the reverse direction, the magnetic liquid 23 is ejected from an ejection nozzle 33 for reverse revolution into the engaged part A of the gears through the lower side.
