Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain the failure-rate reduction, reliability improvement and cost reduction of a detector for the temperature of a rotor by limiting parts to be mounted on the rotor to only a temperature measuring circuit by use of a rotary transformer.
CONSTITUTION: Rotary part 13 and fixed part 14 are electromagnetically coupled with each other by way of electric-power-transferring rotary transformers 16 and signal-tranferring rotary transformer 17 that has primary windings 16a and 17a at stator sides with constant interlinkage magnetic flux and secondary windings 16b and 17b at rotor sides. As the rotor varies in temperature, resistance R of temperature sensing resistor bulb 2 varies and voltage V also varies. Voltage V is transferred to the side of fixed part 14 at a voltage transformation ratio determined by the winding ratio of primary winding 17a to secondary winding 17b. This voltage signal is passed through signal processing circuit 5c to display the temperature by thermometer 6 and alarm circuit 7 sends an alarm signal or stop signal for a rotary apparatus. This constitution provides the reduction of the failure rate, the improvement of reliability and the reduction of the cost.
