Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the direction measurement with high speed and accuracy through correcting the phase difference, by digital processing incoming signal and storing it through obtaining the instantaneous aximuth and arrival bearing. CONSTITUTION:Based on the phase difference between signals obtained through the scanning of a plurality of antenna elements, the direction of incoming of received electromagnetic waves is detected. In this case, in the directional detector 7, IF signal is converted 11 into pulse, the reference phase signal and the phase are compared with the phase detector 12, the control signal of the antenna element is referenced with the phase average device 14 from the result of comparison to calculate the average phase, the phase difference of the antenna elements is detected at the phase difference detector 15 and it is stored in the memory 19.
