CONSTITUTION: Microprocessor 19 edits data and displays pictures by using picture data stored in screen file 22. Further, RAM20 is used as the working area of processor 19 and in ROM21, a screen data object program is stored. Through this object program, picture data registered in screen file 22 is retrieved with command data from keyboard 31 or interface 23 and the screen data is displayed on monitor 29 by processor 19. In refresh memory 24, display positions of monitor 29 are made to correspond to memory addresses in 1:1 proportion, and under the control of processor 19, high-speed picture response is enabled.
