Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect minute electric current with a low power consumption by constructing a sensor section with an induction winding. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field is generated by a current to be detected flowing through a signal winding 4b and a square wave current flowing through a driving winding 4c and changes the magnetic flux inside a circular magnetic body 4a. An induced voltage generated in an output winding 4d is detected depending on the changes in the flux. This allows the checking for possible DC current flowing in one way. A square wave current generating circuit 5a is made to synchronize with a detection circuit 5b to limit the time of detection the induced voltage generated in the winding 4b by the circuit 5b thereby enhancing the noise resistance.
