Abstract
PURPOSE: To suppress the thermal stress of a steam turbine rotor which is greatly affected by the load change of a combined plant, by controlling the load on a gas turbine depending on an allowable load fluctuation ratio.
CONSTITUTION: In a method of controlling the operation of a combined plant comprising a gas turbine 1; a steam generator 2 which is supplied with the exhaust gas of the gas turbine 1 as a heat source; and a steam turbine 3 which is driven by steam produced by the steam generator 2, an allowable load change ratio ΔL/Δt for the steam turbine 1 is calculated depending on the difference between actual load L and plant-required load LD which is applied by a load instruction unit 9. The load on the gas turbine 1 is controlled on the basis of the load change ratio ΔL/Δt.
