Abstract

PURPOSE:To make voltage constant even under heavy load by combining a constant voltage circuit which converts the voltage of a lithium battery to the voltage suited for a low-voltage system load and a circuit which boosts the output of this constant voltage circuit to the voltage necessary for driving liquid crystals etc. CONSTITUTION:The output of a lithium battery 10 is supplied to a constant voltage circuit 11, the constant voltage whereof is supplied to a watch circuit 1 and a boosting circuit 12. The boosted voltage is supplied to a driver 8 which in turn drives a liquid crystal display device 9 by a dynamic driving system. Whan a lamp L is lighted at around 0 deg.C, the output voltage of the lithium battery 10 drops, but since electric power is supplied to the watch circuit 1 and the boosting circuit 12 through the constant voltage circuit 10, the supplying voltage to each part of the watch is always constant and the operation of the watch is stabilized.
