Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible the fabrication of an ink channel with high precision and accuracy and at satisfactory yield by forming an ink channel groove with a photosensitive component. CONSTITUTION:At a prearranged position on a substrate 101 obtained by forming ceramics such as alumina, metal, plastic, etc., a drive element 102 such as a heating element, a piezoelectric element is installed as an energy source for providing an energy to ink for generation of a liquid drop. On the surface of the said substrate where a drive element 102 is provided, a photosensitive component layer 104 of a prearranged thickness is laid by any appropriate means such as an application method, a laminate method, etc. Following the procedure, an ink channel groove 103 forming an ink passage such as an orifice part 105, an action part 106, an ink feed passage part 107, an ink discharge part 108, etc. is formed.
