Abstract

PURPOSE:To make development of uniform density of a development agent required to the minimum, by giving a magnetic development agent to a supply carrier of nonmagnetism and forming a magnetic brush of the development agent on it with the operation of magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:The toner is coated from the vessel 15 containing one component system toner on the surface of the sleeve roller 12 with the revolution of the said roller 12, the magnetic brush is absorbed magnetically, which is formed with magnet poles 13b and 13a for carriage. In this case, the gap between the doctor blade 16 made of aluminum and the stainless-steel-made magnetic brush sleeve 12 is taken as 1mm. and the gap between the magnetic brush sleeve 12 and the roller made of stainless is taken as 1mm., allowing to obtain thin layer (around 80mu) of one component development agent of sufficient density (reflection density is 1.60) on the development roller 11, and the picture developed shows sufficient density.
