Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination of an insulated substrate due to the evaporation of cathode material, by fixing three cathode tubes through a supporting tube to one insulated substrate while making the height from the face of said insulated substrate to the electron emitting face higher than the predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:A cathode tube for three primary color beams having an electron emitting face 15 is held by a supporting tube 17 then it is fixed to a sheet of insulated substrate 12b.
