Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide versatility to a sensor by converting the change in physical quantity into the change in quantity of light by using the reflection mirror installed at the end part of an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The light transmitted through an optical fiber F is irradiated via a lens L to the reflection mirror RF mounted to a displacement amount conversion part TR which converts physical quantity to displacement amount. When the distance l between the lens L and the reflection mirror RF changes, the intensity P of the light which is reflected by the reflection mirror RF and again enters the optical fiber L changes. This light signal is transmitted to a central measurement control unit, by which it is read as a change in physical quantity from the preset reference quantity.
