Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the sealing performance of the valve plate at a suction port by communicating the supply and exhaust pipes for inactive gas with a space formed between the upper and lower suction ports and by operating the upper and lower valve plates opening and closing suction ports respectively in linkage with each other.
CONSTITUTION: At the bottom part of a cylindrical casing 3 are provided the upper and lower suction ports 3b1 and 3b2 having a double structure, while the supply pipe 16 and exhaust pipe 17 for inactive gas are communicated with a space 15 between two suction ports. Numerals 18 and 19 indicate the lower valve plate and the upper valve plate opening and closing the suction ports, which are connected with each other by a coil spring 20 and upper and lower link bars 21b and 21a fitted to the spring.
