Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the temperature of a boiler from sharply rising when a generated electric power output is increased from inplant single running, by using the rate of temperature change in a process state that varies prior to the temperature of steam supplied to a turbine and by performing calculation and control.
CONSTITUTION: The inlet and outlet temperatures TEI, TEO of an economizer, the inlet and outlet fluid temperatures TI, TO of a boiler furnace, the flow rate QF of fuel, a signal SF showing inplant single running and a starting instruction signal SS are applied to the calculation circuit 11 of a boiler fluid temperature controller 10. The calculation circuit 11 detects the operating condition of a power plant on the basis of the applied quanitites. To increase a generated electric power output during inplant single running, the rate of change in the furnace inlet fluid temperature TI of the boiler or the outlet feed water temperature TEO of the economizer is calculated and applied to a function generation circuit 12. An operation command QO for a fuel flow control valve 6 is applied to an output circuit 13 from the function generation circuit 12 by a set function on the basis of the applied rate of change in the temperature.
