Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the difference of sound pressure in a simple way and then to increase the stereo sound field for the control of the increase process release switch as well as the suppression reduction of the in-phase component by inserting the resistors into the input sides of the L and R inverters which give the polarity inversion to the stereo signals. CONSTITUTION:The signals of the stereo L and R sent from input terminals 1 and 2 are applied to L and R inverters 5 and 6 via resistances 14 and 15 each. Then the output of inverters 5 and 6 are fed back to the input side of the reverse channel, and thus the full feedback is applied as a whole to lessen the suppression reduction of the in-phase component. In the monaural broadcast, the automatic reduction is given to the difference of sound pressure due to the ON and OFF of the change- over switch provided at the output side each of inverters 5 and 6 and via the increment of the L and R vector secured by the positive feedback. Thus the effective increase is realized for the stereo sound field.
