Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to easily measure the temperature at an arbitrary position for various infrared ray videos, by performing line display on designated X and Y positions and designating the spot position of the cross point of X and Y positions.
CONSTITUTION: The content of the register XREG, horizontal scanning counter HSC, register YREG, and vertical scanning counter VSC is respectively compared at the comparators COMP1 and COMP2 and the coincidence signal is fed to the temperature register TREG and the character generating section CG. Then, the video signal at the coincidence timing is in black level with the signal from CG and the line of x and y is displayed on the screen. Since the spot position designating the cross point SP of a and y is the scanned position where the coincidence signal is simultaneously obtained from the COMP1 and 2, the video signal at the timing is set to TREG as the temperature data and the content is fed to CG, allowing to display the character displaying the temperature on the screen.
