Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the erroneous main signal caused by the shot noise or the like by receiving the signal showing the input break of the main signal detected through the transmission part at the pattern detection part at the reception part and then turning off both the switch and the system of the main signal. CONSTITUTION:Transmission part 11 transmits the main signal to reception part 12 via optical fiber 13. When signal monitor part 21 detects the input break of the main signal at part 11, switch part 22 operates to give discontinuation to the main signal system linking to electricity/light converter 15 as well as to transmit the detection signal to part 12. On the other hand, with reception of the break detection signal at part 12 and via pattern detector 25, switch part 26 is turned off. Thus the system of the main signal is turned off, ensuring elimination of the erroneous main signal caused by the shot noise or the like.
