Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent reduction of the driving current for a LED to extend a remote control arrival distance by controlling the current limiting resistance of the infrared- ray LED according to voltage lowering of a dry element cell. CONSTITUTION:Transistors TR2 and 3 are turned on and off according to the output waveform of remote control operation part 11, and infrared-ray LEDs 9 and 10 transmit operation signals according to this turning-on and off. When the voltage of dry cell 1 becomes lower than the threshold of Zener diode ZD24, TR20 is turned off, and then, TR19 is turned on, and maximum current ip of LEDs 9 and 10 is flowed from dry cell 1 through TR19 and resistance 26. Thus, reduction of the driving current of LEDs is prevented by short-circuiting resistance 25 out of current limiting resistances for voltage lowering of dry cell 1.
