Abstract

PURPOSE: To allow each work processor to use a common memory for operand data fetch by loading the very microprograms for work processor units direct onto control memories by a control processor unit.
CONSTITUTION: Through the processing of control processor unit 12, microprograms are loaded from program loader 21 to respective memories 4-1 to 4-3. Similarly, they are loaded from data loader 21 onto dictionary memory 5, etc. On the basis of instructions from corresponding control memories 4-1 to 4-3, work processor units 3-1 to 3-3 attain access to memories 5, 6 and 7 for the execution of processes. In addition, the instruction fetch of each work processor unit is made independent and programs respective work processor unit execute are distrubuted by control processor unit 12 as the process demands.
