Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a high quality and low concentration permeate by one stage separation without using a reverse asmosis membrane module with high exhaustive efficiency by circulating a portion of permeate to a stock solution in a liquid separating method utilizing a reverse asmosis method.
CONSTITUTION: A stock solution is supplied to a reverse asmosis unit 4 from a low pressure stock solution supply line 1 through a high pressure pump 2 and separated into a permeate and a concentrated liquid while passed through a reverse asmosis module equipped within the reverse asmosis unit 4. The permeate is taken out from a permeate take-out line 5 and the concentrated liquid is taken out from the concentrated liquid take-out line 6. A portion of the permeate is circulated by a three way value 8 provided on the permeate take-out line 5 to a low pressure stock solution supply line 1 through a circulating line 10 and the remaining permeate is discharged out of the system from a permeate discharging line 9. The concentration of the permeat to be discharged out of the system is adjusted by varying a concentration of a stock solution and a flowing quantity in the circulating line 10.
