Abstract
PURPOSE:To transmit the laser beam to the radiating part at high efficiency, by constituting the optical waveguide of a laser prcessing device with a fitting type hollow guide having excellent plane of reflection of laser beam, mirror bend, and flexible hollow guide. CONSTITUTION:An optical waveguide 11 of laser beam from a laser beam source 13 is constituted by combining expansion fitting type hollow guides 14a, 14b, mirror bend 15 and flexible hollow guide 18. The expansion fitting type hollow guide, which fits pipes 14a, 14b differing in diameter, should be free to expand or contract by relatively sliding each pipe. Inside is provided a plane of reflection 11r of gold, silver, or the like which reflects laser beam at high efficiency. The mirror bend 15 is bent at a proper angle, and is built in a pipe structure having a plain reflecting plate 15P and the plane of reflection of gold, silver, or the like. Inside is, similarly, provided a plane of reflection 11r of gold, silver, or the like, and the flexible hollow guide 18 made of flexible pipe is connected thereto, so that the laser beam is converged is a converting part 12, thereby radiating the laser beam to the radiating part at high efficiency.
