Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a transient phenomenon, by operating the air conditioner at the maximum power, when a deviation, between the set temperature and a cabin temperature, exceeds a predetermined value higher by the constant level above the set temperature, or goes short a predetermined value lower by the constant level below the set temperature. CONSTITUTION:A potential change at a point a, corresponding to a deviation between set temperature by a temperature setting slide resistor 11 and room temperature detected by a thermistor 10, is converted into an absolute value by an absolute value conversion circuit 32, and its deviation signal and a potential at a point d, divided by a resistor 33, 34, are compared by a comparator 37, with a decision made for whether the deviation signal is above or not a prescribed value determined by the potential at the point d. At a low cabin temperature with the deviation signal from the circuit 32 above the prescribed value, a coil 20 is energized, and an air mixing door 7 is shifted to a maximum room warming position P2 to rapidly raise the room temperature. When a room temperature is high, a coil 21 is energized, with the air mixing door 7 shifted to a maximum room cooling position P3, and the room temperature is lowered.
