Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve sound pressure characteristics of a double edge speaker by making several through holes at one edge. CONSTITUTION:Through-holes 10 are made at either roll-shaped edge 2a or wave- shaped edge 2b of double edge 2c. As a result, variation in sound pressure in air room 9 is greatly reduced by through-holes 10, and consequently two edges 2a and 2b can vibrate independently and freely. Further, unneeded resonance in air room 9 can be eliminated. Sound-pressure characteristics of this speaker can therefore be improved.
