Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve mobility by eliminating the need of a connection cable between a camera and recorder by transmitting a video signal and sound signal after modulation into a signal of the same system as a television radio wave of UHF. CONSTITUTION:With pause release switch 3 open, multiplex control signal generating circuit 7 generates a multiplex control signal outside the band of a video signal and when switch 3 is closed, it stops oscillating. Further, this control signal and a video signal from pickup unit 1 are added 8 together and this sum signal and a sound signal from sound collector 2 are modulated by RF modulator 9 into a RF signal of the same system as a UHF television broadcast radio wave before being transmitted from transmitting antenna 10. This signal is received by receiving antenna 12 and supplied to recorder 6 after detection 13, and part of a video signal, on the other hand, is received, so that control signal detection circuit 14 will detect the control signal.
