Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to store both old information and new information together by equipping two memory units and by storing the 2nd memory unit with information required to be retained for a long time and the 1st memory unit with information sent in sequence.
CONSTITUTION: A sampling gate signal from gate signal generating circuit 20 is supplied to information signal sampling circuit 21 and only information signals are extracted from TV signals from video detection circuit 14. This signal is supplied to decision circuit 22, a required channel is selected by channel selector circuit 23, and information on this channel is stored in memory 24. As for read operation, the memory content of memory unit 24 is supplied to synthesizer circuit 15, superposed on a video signal and regenerated on cathode-ray tube 19. To maintain this information for a long time, the content of memory unit 24 is added by mixer circuit 30 to channel and channel-number signals before being supplied to memory unit 34. To read out this, the memory information is supplied to cathode-ray tube 19 via switches 31 and 43 under the control of circuit 23.
