Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable accurate distance measurement independently of the location, by measuring the distance of the light axis between the reflection light from the object and the light further reflecting the reflection light, through the use of beam light such as laser light.
CONSTITUTION: The unit provides the light emitter 2 having sharp directivity, reflection mirror 3 having fine hole at the center, small reflection mirror 4 installed on the axis line almost orthogonal to the light axis of the light emitter 2, and photo detection plate 5 receiving the light passing through the fine hole of the reflection mirror 3 and the reflection light from the reflection mirror 3. Further, the distance of the light axes between the light reaching the photo detection plate 5 through the fine hole of the reflection mirror 3 reflected on the objects 1-0W1-2 among the emitted light and the light reaching the photo detection plate 5 reflected on the object 1, small reflection mirror 4, and further reflection mirror 3. Thus, the distance to the object can be obtained.
