Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the circuit constitution of the camera by recording the output of the solid state pickup element featuring a small number of picture elements on the VTR and giving the twice continuous interlace reproduction to the video signals of one field at the reproduction time.
CONSTITUTION: The output signals sent from the camera using the solid state pickup elements contain the signals equivalent to one field of the standard TV system and the video signals containing the equivalent pulse to prevent the disturbance of the horizontal synchronization with every second field to be then supplied to record/ reproduction head 24. The patterns are recorded on tape 20 every second field via head 24. This recorded tape 20 is then reproduced through head 24 plus reproduction head 25. In this case, record pattern 26 is traced continuously by heads 24 and 25, and thus the video signals of the same field are reproduced twice. Then these reproduced signals undergo the interlace to turn to be the analogous signals to the standard TV system.
