Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce incomplete calls in a network while improving mutual communication services among terminals by offering caretaking services according to a request from a terminal by providing a caretaking service control mechanism into the network. CONSTITUTION:On receiving caretaking service registration signal (a) from terminal TB, network NT sends caretaking-service enable signal (b) back and when NT receives caretaking serive registration signal (c) from TB, it sends reception signal (d) and break signal (e) out and receives break confirmation signal (f), thereby ending the caretaking service registration. As to a call arriving at TB, its telegraphic message is stored in the NT storage. On receiving communication request signal (o) from originating terminal TA, NT sends caretaking service shift announcement signal (p) back to TA and writes received telegraphic message (g) to the memory part, thereby sending reception message signal (r) back to TA. On receiving break signal (s) from TA, NT sends break confirmation signal (t) back to TA, thereby ending the communication.
