PURPOSE: To suppress the proliferation of bacteria in the circulating thawing liquid or exterminate the bacteria, and to improve the preservability of the thawed food, by branching a part of the circulating thawing liquid during the thawing process, sterilizing the branched liquid completely, returning the sterilized liquid to the circulating thawing liquid, and cooling the liquid to the preset thawing temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Frozen foods 4 such as frozen fishes the frozen meat are releasably placed on a tray 3 in a thawing chamber 1. In case of thawing the foods frozen at -10W-30°C, thawing liquid controlled at about 10W30°C is forcibly circulated through the chamber 1.
