Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a monitor unit by monitoring faults by detecting whether the status signal from each information processing device is received in a prescribed time or not, in the information transmission system where plural information processing devices are connected to a common information transmission bus. CONSTITUTION:Receivers RED in many information processing devices connected to transmission bus CL supply the status signal such as a communication end signal, which respective information devices generate, to comparator G. N-number signal generators S are provided correspondingly to n-number information processing devices, and generate n-number monitor signals equal to individual end signals which respective information processing device generate. In case that the end signal is not received within a period determined by timing signal generator T, register stage RAm of corresponding register RG1 is 0 still, so that the faulty information device can be detected. Thus, devices can be monitored mutually with a simple constitution.
