Abstract
PURPOSE:To save the transmission band efficiently without lowering the resolution, by modulating the carrier provided at the attenuation pole of band limit filter with two chroma signals and multiplexing the result on black and white signal. CONSTITUTION:The black and white signal M is provided on the low band of video signal transmission band, the first carrier f1 is provided at the attenuation pole of the band limit low band filter of this black and white signal M, this first carrier f1 is modulated with one chroma signal C1 to transmit the high band spectral component, and the second carrier f2 is provided at the high band attenuation pole of the band limit band pass filter of the chroma signal C1, and the second carrier f2 is modulated with other chroma signal C2 to transmit the high band spectral.
