Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate channel selection, sound volume adjustment, etc., of a distant large-size TV receiver, by providing a receiving part and a transmission part in the large-size TV receiver and a small-size TV receiver respectively and by performing remote control of them. CONSTITUTION:Small-size TV receiver 2 is provided with operation key part 5, signal processing part 9, and a remote control signal transmission part. Receiver 1 with remote control function is used as a large-size TV receiver. The channel selection key of key part 5 is turned on, and input information and program contents of ROM13 are compared with each other by data comparator 11 and are supplied to data selector 15. At this time, channel information corresponding to contents of RAM14 is input to latch circuit 16 from selector 15, and output signal A is led out from BCD output circuit 18, and the channel selection of the receiver is performed. In respect to receiver 1, a prescribed key is turned on to lead out output signal B by the similar operation, and a desired channel is selected through the remote control transmission part. Then, sound volume adjustment and power on and off can be performed easily by the remote control.
