Abstract
PURPOSE:To effectively convert solar light in entire region of a solar light energy converter into energy by forming a thin amorphous silicon solar battery on the surface of heat collecting plate. CONSTITUTION:A transparent outer tube 1 of glass or the like is evacuated to vacuum therein. A heat collecting plate 4 of Cu or Al or the like is passed through a copper heat medium tube 3 for flowing heat medium such as water or the like, and amorphous silicon solar battery 5 is so formed in thickness of 0.1-10mu capable of passing solar light rays, thereon. The battery 5 is formed, for example, by plasma discharging mixture gas. Thus, the solar heat is collected by utilizing infrared rays of the solar light, and visible light is utilized simultaneously to generate an electricity so as to convert effectively the entire region of the solar light into energy.
