Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove a curved pattern of the magnetic line of force for a vertical deflection of the yoke and eliminate a misconvergence of bow-shape back-to-back inverted to each other, by installing magnetic material pieces with a pair of angular protrusions to inner faces at the side of an electron gun of the vertical deflection coil. CONSTITUTION:U-letter shaped magnetic material pieces 15 with an angular protrusion extended to at the side of a picture face are installed to inner faces at the electron gun side of a vertical deflection coil 7. A small loop 16 of the magnetic line of force is absorbed by angular protruding parts at both sides of the U-letter shaped magnetic material piece 15 before reaching electron beams 13, 14. This causes the magneric line of force to eliminate a curved pattern and the vertically deflecting magnetic line of force to be in a gentle shape.
