The color signals of red R, green G and blue B from the output circuits 7, 8, 9 are fed to the R projection tube 10, G projection tubes 11, 11' and B projection tube 12 respectively and each mono-color picture projected at the same time from the four projection tubes 10, 11, 11' and 12 is projected superimposingly on the screen 13, the luminance of G picture is increased twice.
