Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the insulation and prevent the discharge between the cores of a high tension transformer by a method wherein an insulating spacer is placed between the confronting cores, and an enveloping end part insulation along one end side of a core is arranged.
CONSTITUTION: The legs 1aW1c of the first core 1 are confronted, with the legs 2aW2c of the secondary core 2, and are made to cooperate to form a necessary magnetic circuit. The primary coil 3 is wound on the core 1, the secondary coil 4 on the core 2, and an insulating spacer 5 is placed between the confronting legs 1aW1c, 2aW2c of the cores 1, 2. By making the spacer 5 in one body with an enveloping end part 6 which exist along one end side of a core, the insulation is improved and prevent the discharge between the core 1 and 2, and make it easy to settle the location of the core 1, 2.
