Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce low switching disturbance appearing on a screen by driving a horizontal output transistor and switching regulator transistor both by the same driving transformer. CONSTITUTION:As output voltage (e) of smoothing choke 9 increases, the pulse width of the horizontal oscillation circuit becomes wider and an inversion is made by driving transistor 3 to make narrow the pulse width of horizontal driving voltage (b). Therefore, the period of horizontal driving current (c) flowing to the secondary side of the transformer 4 is shortened. As a result, the ON period of switching regulator transistor 8 becomes short and it operates by way of decreasing voltage (e). Although horizontal output transistor 7 is also driven by the same current (c), the pusle width of output (a) is limited within the ON period of horizontal deflecting damper diode 13, so that driving will not be disturbed.
